en.Wedoany.com Reported - On June 26, Sunward held an electric excavator appreciation event in Changsha, Hunan, China, showcasing seven electric excavator models and intelligent attachment application solutions. Experts from industry associations, customer representatives, and media guests attended the event.

Sunward has developed over 100 electric equipment models, forming an electric excavator product line covering 1-ton to 70-ton classes. The SWE10FE and SWE20FE showcased at the event are among the first electric excavators in China to receive CE certification and have been deployed in batches in Europe. The four medium-sized excavators—SWE215FE, SWE225FE, SWE240FE, and SWE275FE—were presented with attachments including a grapple, bucket, shear, and hammer, respectively. The SWE275FE made its debut, operated remotely via a self-developed remote control cabin. The SWE700FE features a dual-power design, delivering robust performance and stable energy supply under continuous operating conditions, with operating costs significantly lower than diesel models.

In his address, Fu Xiangdong, Party Secretary and Chairman of Sunward, stated that the company prioritizes green and intelligent development. The electric excavators on display are suitable for applications such as urban construction, underground tunnels, and mining. Li Hongbao, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of the Excavator Machinery Branch of the China Construction Machinery Society, recognized Sunward's exploration in electrification, noting that the company independently controls core key technologies and has achieved breakthroughs in overseas markets.

Mr. Zhang, a customer representative from the mining sector, shared his experience with the SWE700FE, which has been operating in a mine for four months, achieving zero emissions and low noise, with significantly reduced energy consumption and maintenance costs. Another customer, Mr. Jiang from Guangdong, stated that he had previously purchased multiple Sunward diesel excavators and now plans to acquire several SWE225FE units, citing their low noise and low operating costs.

At the event, multiple customers signed procurement agreements with Sunward, totaling nearly 40 units of equipment.

In his concluding remarks, Xia Zhihong, General Manager of Sunward, stated that the green transformation of construction machinery has shifted from an option to a necessity. The company will scale its product matrix to meet customers' diverse needs in urban construction and mining operations.

Sunward stated that it will continue to advance "high-end, intelligent, and green" development. Nearly 200 people attended the event, including Li Hongbao, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of the Excavator Machinery Branch of the China Construction Machinery Society; Fu Xiangdong, Party Secretary and Chairman of Sunward; Xia Zhihong, General Manager; Zhang Daqing, Party Committee Member and Executive Deputy General Manager; Huang Zhongbo, Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer; Long Jucai, Deputy General Manager; as well as customer representatives and R&D, manufacturing, and marketing teams from the excavator division.
