en.Wedoany.com Reported - On June 29, 2026, the Industrial Innovation and Development (Dezhou) Conference on High-Purity Sputtering Target Materials for Integrated Circuits was held in Dezhou City, Shandong Province, China. The conference was guided by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and co-hosted by China Youyan Technology Group Co., Ltd. and the Industrial Technology Innovation Alliance of Integrated Circuit Materials. Over 140 guests attended, including Ao Hong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association; Zuo Lei, a responsible official from the Science and Technology Innovation Bureau of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission; and Tu Hailing, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
In his speech, Ao Hong pointed out that high-purity sputtering target materials, as core foundational materials for chip manufacturing, directly determine the security and stability of the domestic integrated circuit industry chain. Academician Tu Hailing stated that the global semiconductor industry is currently in a historic growth cycle, with continuous expansion of domestic wafer fabs, surging demand for computing chips and 3D packaging, and comprehensive empowerment from localization policies. Zuo Lei emphasized the need to better serve national strategies, strengthen innovation collaboration, optimize institutional mechanisms, and accelerate the enhancement of technological innovation capabilities of central enterprises.
The conference specially invited experts including Academician Liu Jiongtian and Academician Zhao Zhongwei to deliver keynote reports, conducting comprehensive sharing and exchanges on cutting-edge industrial technologies and market application status.
This conference focused on key topics such as high-purity metal materials, mass production technologies for sputtering targets, wafer application adaptation, supply-demand chain integration, and localization substitution implementation, which is of great significance for promoting the high-quality development of the key materials industry for integrated circuits.
