en.Wedoany.com Reported - The 2400mm composite aluminum hot rolling production line, China's first of its kind, constructed by Sinomach Heavy Equipment for Huafon Aluminum's high-end aluminum plate and foil intelligent construction project, has achieved full-line success and successfully rolled its first coil on June 24. Chen Guozhen, Chairman of Huafon Aluminum, and Wang Huiqiu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Sinomach Heavy Equipment, attended the event and delivered speeches.
Wang Huiqiu stated that this milestone marks a new phase of cooperation between the two parties. Sinomach Heavy Equipment will steadily advance the line to achieve full production capacity and efficiency, ensuring its long-term stable operation, while continuously deepening technological iterations to meet the demands of the new energy and new materials industries, creating more demonstration projects for high-end domestic equipment.
For this project, Erzhong Heavy Equipment, a subsidiary of Sinomach Heavy Equipment, provided comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system integration services for the entire line, while China National Heavy Machinery Research Institute was responsible for the design, supply, and commissioning of the electrical and automation control systems. The production line has reached an industry-leading level in comprehensive indicators such as process mode, equipment configuration, and production efficiency. During the project development, Sinomach Heavy Equipment adopted China's first process layout combining a single-stand double-coiler with tandem rolling, innovatively integrating three rolling modes and equipping the line with a high-precision automation control system, demonstrating the company's system integration capabilities and core competitiveness in the field of high-end aluminum hot rolling complete equipment.
Once operational, the project will stably produce 450,000 tons of high-precision aluminum plate and strip annually, covering key sectors of the national economy such as new energy vehicles and rail transit. It will provide core material support for China's new energy industry and high-end equipment manufacturing, helping to enhance the resilience and security of the industrial and supply chains for China's key new energy foundational materials.
