en.Wedoany.com Reported - Deutsche Telekom built 83 new mobile communications base stations across Germany in May to close existing supply gaps and densify the network in previously underserved areas. The company published this interim expansion report during the month of Pentecost.

Towns and cities where new mobile communications sites were activated for the Deutsche Telekom network in May include Aachen, Ansbach, Berlin, Bonn, Hamburg, Kiel, Cologne, Leipzig, Lübeck, Munich, Nuremberg, and many other regions.
In addition to new base stations, Deutsche Telekom also upgraded many existing communication towers. The company increased capacity at 677 sites, primarily for mobile internet access, allowing more users to access high-speed mobile internet simultaneously at the same location. Those benefiting from these improvements include traditional mobile communications users, users who use LTE and 5G networks as an alternative to fixed internet access, and hybrid access users who combine DSL access capacity with mobile network capacity for faster uploads and downloads. Furthermore, Deutsche Telekom continued to advance the expansion of its fiber optic network in May.
