This collaboration aims to accelerate the development of multimodal logistics parks, rail-linked freight stations, warehouses, and other key facilities to enhance logistics efficiency in India.

Under the agreement, RITES will offer its multidisciplinary engineering and consulting expertise to CONCOR on a project-by-project basis. The consultancy services cover the entire lifecycle of infrastructure development, from concept and planning to commissioning, ensuring efficient project execution while maintaining quality standards and technical excellence.

This partnership combines the strengths of two leading Navratna public sector enterprises under the Ministry of Railways. CONCOR has extensive experience in container logistics and multimodal transport, while RITES possesses decades of expertise in transport consulting, engineering, and project management. The MoU adopts a project-by-project collaboration model, enabling CONCOR to engage RITES for specific infrastructure projects requiring technical and project management support.

As part of the MoU, RITES will undertake a range of consultancy tasks to support CONCOR's infrastructure expansion and modernization plans. These services include feasibility studies for new infrastructure projects, preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPR), detailed engineering and architectural and structural design, project supervision and construction management, quality assurance and technical monitoring, and end-to-end project management consultancy from concept to commissioning.

The collaboration will support the development and upgrade of multiple key logistics assets across the country, involving Multimodal Logistics Parks (MMLP), Inland Container Depots (ICD), rail-linked freight stations, warehousing facilities, railway infrastructure, administrative buildings, internal roads and utilities, and supporting logistics facilities.

By combining engineering and project management capabilities, this partnership aims to deliver logistics projects in a timely and cost-effective manner. RITES has been deeply involved in transport consulting and engineering solutions for over five decades, successfully executing projects in more than 55 countries across Asia, Africa, Latin America, South America, and the Middle East.
