en.Wedoany.com Reported - LATAM Airlines Brasil resumed direct flights between Brasília and Uberlândia this Wednesday (1st), after the route had been suspended since March 2023. The new daily flights aim to expand travel options between the Triângulo Mineiro region and the federal capital, while also facilitating connections via Brasília to numerous domestic and international destinations.

The route is operated with Airbus A320 family aircraft, capable of carrying up to 180 passengers. Departure from Brasília is at 4:40 PM, with an estimated arrival in Uberlândia at 5:40 PM; the return flight departs at 6:20 PM and lands in the federal capital at 7:15 PM. Aline Mafra, Sales and Marketing Director at LATAM Airlines Brasil, stated that resuming this route is part of the company's strategy to expand its domestic market share and strengthen air connectivity in Brazil.
This operation further reinforces Brasília's role as one of the company's main flight hubs. From the federal capital, passengers from Uberlândia can access an extensive network of domestic destinations, as well as approximately 90 international destinations served by LATAM. In the state of Minas Gerais, LATAM maintains regular operations at the airports of Belo Horizonte/Confins, Uberlândia, Uberaba, Montes Claros, and Juiz de Fora (Zona da Mata), with a route network providing direct connections to major economic centers such as São Paulo (Guarulhos and Congonhas) and Brasília.
The resumption of this route is part of LATAM's expansion plan in the Brazilian market. Since 2021, the number of airports served by the company in Brazil has increased from 44 to 63, reaching the largest domestic network in its history. In the international market, LATAM operates its own flights to approximately 90 destinations, 31 of which are direct from Brazil. According to data from the National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac), LATAM has led the Brazilian domestic and international markets since 2021. In the corporate travel segment, the company maintained its leading position for the third consecutive year in 2025, according to a survey by the Brazilian Corporate Travel Association (Abracorp).
