en.Wedoany.com Reported - imc Test & Measurement and HighQSoft have launched a new integration that brings measurement data from ASAMCommander directly into FAMOS software, allowing users to open and process measurement data from HighQSoft in FAMOS without file export or installing proprietary plugins, while fully retaining channels, units, sampling rates, and metadata.

This integration aims to streamline the analysis of technical measurement data for engineering teams. Test engineers can now search and filter measurement data in ASAMCommander and immediately transfer it to FAMOS for analysis, visualization, and reporting. This eliminates the need for manual file export, facilitating efficient handling of large volumes of complex measurement data.
ASAMCommander is a web-based test data management application built on HighQSoft's ASAM ODS 6 server AReS Libertas, used for searching, filtering, and managing measurement data across an organization. FAMOS is a mature measurement data analysis software environment widely used in industries such as automotive testing, aerospace, railway, and mechanical engineering, capable of handling large-scale data from test benches, proving grounds, and validation drives.
The new integration combines the structured data management of ASAMCommander with the powerful evaluation capabilities of FAMOS. Engineers can continue using existing FAMOS analysis workflows, macros, and reporting processes, while measurement data remains centrally stored in the ASAM ODS repository.
In the latest version, FAMOS 2026 +AI, the software adds support for Apache Parquet and MDF4 file formats, expanding interfaces for cloud and big data workflows. Additionally, the AI assistant feature has been improved for creating and implementing evaluation steps, calculations, and visualizations; new signal processing functions have been added, with particular enhancements in interval- and cycle-based signal analysis. The software also enhances visualization, selection, and reporting capabilities to support efficient evaluation of large-scale measurement data and generate professional reports that meet corporate design standards.
From a technical implementation perspective, the connection is based on open interfaces and standards. FAMOS provides a flexible Python API, while HighQSoft uses pyHQL—a Python library for the HQL query language for ASAM ODS. This combination enables direct integration of measurement data from ASAM ODS systems into FAMOS sequences without requiring proprietary plugins, vendor-specific SDKs, or recompilation of applications.
For large-scale testing activities such as those in the automotive industry, ASAM ODS is already a global standard for test data management. The advantage of this integration is that users can quickly filter relevant measurement data from thousands of datasets in ASAMCommander and directly transfer it to FAMOS for immediate evaluation, thereby simplifying evaluation work for vehicle testing, test bench trials, and other data-intensive development and validation processes.
Daniel Förder, Strategic Product Manager at imc Test & Measurement, stated: "FAMOS 2026 +AI can easily connect to modern, cloud-based data management systems while supporting established standards such as ASAM ODS. This allows us to combine centralized data storage with powerful measurement data analysis—helping test and validation teams evaluate large amounts of data significantly faster and more efficiently."
