en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Ripollès Regional Council (Consell Comarcal del Ripollès) has issued a tender for the construction of a ground-mounted photovoltaic power station with an energy storage system at the Ripollès-3 landfill, with the generated electricity used for on-site self-consumption. The project also includes preventive maintenance services using thermal imaging cameras during the first year of operation.

The base budget for the project is €331,753. Interested companies may submit bids through a simplified open procedure and standard process, with the deadline set for July 20.
The project plans to install 441 photovoltaic panels, each with a power output of 460 Wp, for a total peak power of 202.86 kWp. The rated power of the photovoltaic array and energy storage system is 100 kW, consisting of two 50 kW inverters and a 153.6 kWh battery system (divided into two 76.8 kWh modules). The photovoltaic panels will be installed on the ground using dedicated structures, with a tilt angle of 10 degrees and an east-west orientation. The project also includes preventive maintenance services using thermal imaging cameras during the first year of operation.
The facility operates under a self-consumption model with simple compensation for surplus electricity and has not received EU funding. Building a photovoltaic power station on a closed landfill is a common form of land reuse, providing clean energy for the community while generating economic benefits from idle land. The Ripollès-3 landfill is a regional facility consisting of multiple operation-related buildings, and this photovoltaic project will provide self-consumption electricity support for it.
