en.Wedoany.com Reported - Wison New Energies and Qair International have officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly develop European floating offshore wind projects, with a focus on floating offshore wind solutions in complex marine environments such as the North Sea and the Mediterranean.

Under the agreement, the two parties will combine Qair's experience in renewable energy project development, financing, construction management, and operations with Wison New Energies' integrated EPCIC+O&M delivery capabilities covering engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and maintenance. Together, they will assess potential project opportunities and promote the commercial application of floating offshore wind solutions within Europe's green power grid system.

Liu Hongjun, Chairman of Wison New Energies, stated: "The large-scale development of floating wind power requires efficient coordination among project development, technical solutions, and engineering delivery capabilities. This agreement establishes a foundation for a long-term cooperation mechanism between the two parties. We look forward to jointly exploring commercially viable project opportunities and accelerating the implementation of floating offshore wind solutions."

Qair is an independent renewable energy company with operations spanning solar, onshore and offshore wind, hydropower, tidal energy, battery storage, and green hydrogen. It currently has 1.7 GW of installed capacity in operation, with approximately 30 GW of projects under development across 20 countries worldwide. Wison New Energies has accumulated technical expertise in the floating wind sector, with its semi-submersible floating wind foundation solution previously receiving certification from DNV.

As global energy transition demands continue to evolve, Wison New Energies stated that it will continue to deepen technological innovation and international cooperation, positioning floating offshore wind as one of its key development directions. The signing of this strategic cooperation agreement marks the official launch of deep collaboration between the two parties in the floating offshore wind sector and provides a new pathway for the large-scale development of deep-sea wind resources in Europe.
