en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 3, the Hydrogen Energy Development Company, a subsidiary of the group, officially launched the Chengdu-Chongqing Hydrogen Corridor demonstration routes for paper products and beverages at the Tuanjie Village Highway Logistics Hub. The two hydrogen-powered heavy truck logistics routes have been put into operation, marking new progress in expanding hydrogen energy logistics application scenarios in the Chengdu-Chongqing region.

The two newly launched demonstration routes focus on the demand for the circulation of daily necessities between Chengdu and Chongqing, targeting high-frequency transportation scenarios such as paper products and beverages. Adopting a point-to-point round-trip operation model, they precisely match the cargo structures of both locations, aiming to optimize transportation organization processes, reduce empty vehicle rates, achieve full-chain green transportation, and lower logistics costs.
All routes utilize technologically mature and operationally stable hydrogen fuel cell heavy trucks as transport vehicles. Compared to traditional diesel heavy trucks, hydrogen-powered heavy trucks can significantly reduce air pollutants and carbon emissions under the same transport efficiency. This move helps promote deep decarbonization in the transportation sector, build a green and low-carbon logistics system, and serves as a demonstration for accelerating the adjustment of the transportation structure.
In the next step, the Hydrogen Energy Development Company will explore the potential of scenarios such as cross-city trunk lines, port hubs, cold chain distribution, and logistics parks, enrich the commercial application forms of hydrogen energy, promote the hydrogen energy industry from pilot demonstrations to large-scale commercialization, and support the green and low-carbon development of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle.
