en.Wedoany.com Reported - Recently, Counselor Yu Shiwei of the Chinese Embassy in Iraq led a delegation to inspect and guide PowerChina's Baghdad Villa Project. Li Dezhi, Deputy General Manager of the Middle East and North Africa Regional Headquarters, accompanied the visit.

Yu Shiwei and his team visited the project construction site and held discussions with the project team. They fully affirmed PowerChina's active participation in Iraq's infrastructure construction and its achievements in continuously promoting high-quality project performance. They also recognized the project's practices in standardizing local employee management and safeguarding employee rights during performance. Yu Shiwei put forward requirements for PowerChina to further improve operational quality and efficiency in Iraq: First, continuously strengthen awareness of quality management, safe production, and compliance operations, adhering to bottom-line thinking; second, actively demonstrate Chinese enterprises' sense of responsibility by building quality livelihood projects, and tell the story of Chinese enterprises' overseas development.

Li Dezhi, based on Iraq's national conditions, market environment, and project performance practices, introduced PowerChina's ongoing efforts to deepen market presence in Iraq, promote localized operations, and serve local socio-economic and livelihood development. He stated that PowerChina will continue to adhere to the concept of localized development, continuously improve management and project performance capabilities, actively contribute to Iraq's infrastructure construction and livelihood improvement, and promote practical cooperation between China and Iraq.

Relevant personnel from PowerChina's Iraq Representative Office and the Baghdad Villa Project Department participated in the event.
