en.Wedoany.com Reported - Recently, to thoroughly implement the national strategy for the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta and promote the effective implementation of the "Decision on Promoting Collaborative Scientific and Technological Innovation in the Yangtze River Delta," the Shanghai People's Congress Work Research Association visited the Shanghai Robot Industry Technology Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as the "Shanghai Research Institute"), a subsidiary of SEARI, to conduct research. The visit focused on field inspections and on-site guidance regarding the high-quality development of the robotics industry. A delegation of 15 members, including Yao Mingbao and Yao Haitong, former Secretaries-General of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, and experts from the research association, participated in this research. Relevant officials from the Putuo District People's Congress and the Putuo District Science and Technology Commission accompanied the research.
The research team carefully listened to the work report delivered by Zheng Junqi, President of the Shanghai Research Institute, and gained a detailed understanding of the construction and operation of the National Robot Testing and Evaluation Center (Headquarters) and the Shanghai Robot R&D and Transformation Functional Platform. As a new-type R&D institution integrating robot technology R&D, testing and certification, standard setting, and achievement transformation, the Shanghai Research Institute fully leverages the core resource advantages of these two platforms to continuously radiate and empower the Yangtze River Delta region, contributing to the innovation iteration, quality improvement, and upgrading of China's robotics industry.
Subsequently, representatives from the Shanghai Research Institute participated in a special symposium and put forward three suggestions regarding the high-quality development of the embodied intelligent robotics industry in the Yangtze River Delta: optimize and improve the regional layout of the Yangtze River Delta robotics industry and upgrade industry support carriers; promote the widespread adoption of robot CR certification in financial scenarios such as technology credit, technology insurance, and equipment financial leasing; and coordinate the construction of a collaborative training system for embodied intelligent robotics professionals in the Yangtze River Delta, unblocking the supply channel for high-skilled talent.
The Shanghai People's Congress Work Research Association fully affirmed the achievements made by SEARI in deeply cultivating the strategic emerging industry of robotics and promoting regional collaborative scientific and technological innovation.
