en.Wedoany.com Reported - Tianma announced the recent launch of the world's first 3.16-inch Micro LED transparent circular display, catering to the needs of smart cockpits, in-vehicle assistants, and intelligent robots.

This product features an ultra-narrow bezel design of 1mm, with a resolution of 480*480, a pixel density of 152 PPI, a peak brightness of up to 15,000 nits, and a typical brightness of 2,500 nits. Even under direct strong midday sunlight, navigation and vehicle status information remain clearly readable.
The screen boasts a high transmittance of 50%, along with a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 and a color gamut coverage of 120% NTSC.
It is reported that traditional square screens struggle to integrate into rounded interior environments such as car air vents and center console knobs. In contrast, Tianma's circular Micro LED transparent display design can be naturally embedded in various in-vehicle positions, displaying time, ambient lighting effects, and quick interactive information, serving as a visual interaction solution connecting users with smart terminals.
Tianma has a long-standing presence in the in-vehicle Micro LED field. Since initiating technology reserves in 2017, the company has regarded in-vehicle displays as one of the core directions for Micro LED technology application.
In terms of product layout, Tianma has formed a diverse matrix covering transparent displays, head-up displays, and high-brightness in-vehicle screens. In 2024, the company successfully lit up its first standard in-vehicle product, achieving a leap from technology development to standard product capabilities.
In 2025, Tianma launched a 7-inch Micro LED standard in-vehicle product. Based on a TFT glass backplane, this product features a high transmittance of 61% and a brightness of 1,700 nits. It supports modular free splicing, adaptable to single-screen scenarios such as HUD head-up displays and center console screens, and can also be combined to meet the multi-screen requirements of a panoramic HUD system. It has now entered the small-batch production stage.
In the head-up display field, Tianma introduced the 8-inch IRIS HUD in February this year, touted as the industry's first Micro LED panoramic head-up display with the highest PPI, achieving a pixel density of 167 PPI, a peak brightness exceeding 10,000 nits, an in-eye brightness of over 1,300 nits, and a projection glass transparency of over 86%. It can project key information such as navigation and vehicle speed directly onto the windshield, remaining clearly readable even under direct strong light.
In April of the same year, Tianma officially launched the world's first high-end in-vehicle display brand, Tianma's "Tianxuan" screen, utilizing glass-based Micro LED direct-view technology. The transparent spliced "Tianxuan" screen showcased by Tianma has a transmittance of >60%, appearing as transparent as glass when powered off without obstructing the view; a reflectance of <2.5%, and a peak brightness of >5,000 nits.
Additionally, Tianma has previously showcased multiple transparent Micro LED products for in-vehicle scenarios, including an 8.07-inch transparent low-reflection display, an 8.07-inch octagonal digital rearview mirror display, a 9.38-inch adjustable transparency display, and a 7.05-inch ultra-narrow bezel transparent display, with transmittance covering a range of 55% to 70%. These can meet differentiated needs for center consoles, instrument clusters, passenger entertainment screens, and in-vehicle ambient displays.
