en.Wedoany.com Reported - Keshun Waterproof Technology Co., Ltd., Beigou Maintenance Group, and BASF (China) Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement to jointly establish and inaugurate a joint laboratory for low-carbon, green, and environmentally friendly technologies in the transportation and energy sectors. This collaboration aims to build a full-industry-chain collaborative innovation platform, driving the transportation infrastructure maintenance industry toward green, intelligent, and refined transformation and upgrading.

Chen Weizhong, Chairman of Keshun Co., Ltd.; Dai Shutao, General Manager of Shunyi Clean; Qin Di, Vice President of Beigou Group; Tang Xiang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Beigou Maintenance Group; and Huang Yi, General Manager of the Dispersions Division, Greater China, BASF (China) Co., Ltd., jointly delivered speeches and inaugurated the joint laboratory. Relevant responsible personnel from all parties attended the signing and unveiling ceremony.
Chen Weizhong stated that Keshun, with 30 years of deep industry experience, has expanded its business to include architectural coatings, photovoltaic energy, and self-cleaning coatings. The nano self-cleaning and radiative cooling coating technologies independently developed by its subsidiary Shunyi Clean are highly aligned with the four major research directions of the joint laboratory. The three parties will integrate their core strengths, leveraging Keshun's industrialization capabilities, BASF's advanced raw material R&D technology, and Beigou Maintenance's field engineering application scenarios to form a closed loop for technology implementation, providing comprehensive systematic solutions for the low-carbon transformation of the transportation and energy industries.

Qin Di noted that Beigou Maintenance Group is a key subsidiary in Beigou Group's "one-axis" transportation infrastructure construction industry chain. With complementary advantages and shared resources, the three parties will jointly strengthen and expand the new functional materials industry, ensuring that the collaboration outcomes directly serve the enhancement of transportation infrastructure and shape a new landscape for the transportation maintenance industry system.

Tang Xiang stated that Beigou Maintenance Group's business covers Guangxi and extends to 13 provinces and regions nationwide. Its extensive operational scenarios involving roads, bridges, tunnels, and culverts provide a natural testing ground for the transformation of new technologies and materials. This collaboration represents a deep integration of "application scenarios + cutting-edge R&D + intelligent manufacturing." In the future, the joint laboratory will continue to tackle core industry technical challenges, supporting the green and low-carbon development of transportation maintenance.

Huang Yi pointed out that BASF (China) Co., Ltd. has solid technical reserves in areas such as fast-drying waterborne road marking paints and cold-mix asphalt modified emulsions. This collaboration establishes a complete chain of "material R&D—product implementation—scenario validation," significantly shortening the technology iteration cycle. The three parties will jointly build a weather resistance database for transportation materials in the Southwest region, cultivate composite technical talent, and drive the upgrade of transportation infrastructure service levels.

Against the backdrop of dual-carbon development, energy-saving protective new materials are poised for broad market opportunities. The collaboration will center on Shunyi Clean's nano-coating technology as the innovation core, integrating the entire chain from raw materials and R&D to field application. It will jointly address material pain points in the transportation and new energy sectors, leveraging joint R&D to form differentiated low-carbon technology advantages and supporting industry transformation and upgrading.
Keshun Co., Ltd. will rely on Shunyi Clean's cutting-edge coating technology, continuously collaborate with partners to deepen synergistic innovation, and focus on the low-carbon new materials track, empowering green and high-quality development of transportation infrastructure through technological innovation.
