en.Wedoany.com Reported - Leetx, a Chinese industrial fastening and assembly technology supplier, has launched the EcoMove electric cylinder, which integrates a mechanical body, servo motor, controller, pressure sensor, and visualization software, aiming to simplify the design and integration process of automated press-fit workstations. As a pre-integrated alternative, this system eliminates the need to source components from multiple suppliers or write custom force control code.
When designing automated press-fit workstations, system integrators and equipment manufacturers often face the challenge of sourcing motors, controllers, sensors, and cables from multiple suppliers, as well as writing custom force control code for programmable logic controllers. Each workstation requires 40 to 100 hours for integration and debugging, leading to non-standardized assembly, limited data traceability, and increased project risks.
The EcoMove takes approximately two hours to install. With a force range of 10 to 60 kN and stroke options of 150 mm and 350 mm, it can be used for press-fitting, riveting, spring testing, bending, and straightening operations on production lines in the automotive, electric vehicle battery, and general industrial automation sectors.
Key specifications include: real-time monitoring of force and displacement with "pass/fail" evaluation per cycle; adaptive speed control with force overshoot maintained below 2%; storage of up to 32 process programs for quick changeovers; support for multiple industrial bus protocols and standard I/O; energy consumption only one-twentieth that of hydraulic solutions, and a noise level of 75 dB.
All core modules (mechanical structure, control system, and software) are developed in-house by Leetx at its R&D centers in Shanghai and Wuxi. Key components are manufactured in the company's precision machining workshop. Samuel Chen, Head of International Business at Leetx, stated that system integrators typically spend weeks assembling press-fit workstations but lack standardized quality assurance and data export capabilities, whereas the EcoMove provides a fully integrated system with process monitoring and traceability functions.
The EcoMove has obtained CE certification and is available immediately. Services in Europe are provided by Leetx's Germany subsidiary. Leetx is a smart assembly technology enterprise specializing in providing servo electric press-fit systems, tightening and fastening systems, and automatic screw feeding systems for high-end manufacturing. Its solutions are designed to ensure process-level data traceability and zero-defect quality assurance, and have been deployed on hundreds of production lines worldwide, covering automotive, electric vehicle battery, aerospace, and other fields.
