India's NTPC REL orders Rs 5.58 billion solar PV from Insolation

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Insolation Green Energy Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Insolation Energy Limited, has secured a contract worth Rs 5.58 billion from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, for the supply of solar photovoltaic modules.
The contract serves NTPC REL's 1,000 MW solar projects in Lalitpur and Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh. The supply targets include Lalitpur-1 (435 MWp), Lalitpur-2 (435 MWp), and Chitrakoot-1 (580 MWp), with a total DC capacity of 1,450 MWp. The project tender was launched in April 2026.
In December 2025, Insolation Green Energy had secured two orders for the supply of solar photovoltaic modules, with a total value of approximately Rs 5.16 billion.
