en.Wedoany.com Reported - Sugon announced that China's first fully domestic 100,000-card AI supercluster, "Sugon 8000 (Dengfeng)," has been officially completed and connected to the National Supercomputing Internet. This marks the transition of AI infrastructure construction from the 10,000-card level to the 100,000-card deployment stage.
The Sugon 8000 (Dengfeng) adopts a "supercomputing-AI fusion" technical approach, targeting the composite demands of high-precision scientific computing and low-precision intelligent computing. It supports full precision from FP64 to INT8, covering scenarios such as scientific computing, large model training, AI inference, and industrial simulation. The cluster possesses full self-research capabilities across the entire chain, including chips, computing, storage, networking, cooling, applications, and services. Domestic chips such as Haiguang provide underlying support, while the scaleFabric class IB-native RDMA high-speed network enables the connection of 100,000 cards. The ParaStor distributed storage supports massive data reads and writes in large model training and scientific computing.

The system uses immersion phase-change liquid cooling technology, supporting MW-level high-power density deployment per cabinet, and improves cluster energy efficiency through domestic coolants and year-round natural cooling methods. During the Photosynthesis Organization 2026 Intelligent Computing Application Conference, Sugon reached a strategic cooperation agreement with the Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence, initiating the development and construction of a second fully domestic 100,000-card supercomputing-AI fusion computing system.
