The 9th Standing Council Meeting of the 8th Session of China Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Seals Association Convened

en.Wedoany.com Reported - The 9th Standing Council (Enlarged) Meeting of the 8th Session of China Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Seals Industry Association was held in Ningbo on July 9, 2026. The meeting was chaired by Du Xudong, President of the Association, with over 100 representatives from standing council member units, industry experts, council members, and member units in attendance. Among them, 50 standing council member units were present, along with four supervisors including the Chief Supervisor Yu Yunfei.

This meeting was convened at a critical juncture of industry transformation and upgrading, domestic substitution, and green and intelligent transition. It brought together key enterprises and experts in the industry to comprehensively review operational performance and assess opportunities and challenges.

The meeting covered the entire process, including Party-building guidance, industry situation analysis, association work reports, deliberation of major proposals, democratic voting, and exchange discussions. President Du Xudong delivered an industry situation report focusing on the start of the "15th Five-Year Plan." The report indicated that the industry achieved significant operational results in 2025, with revenue and profit growth rates substantially outperforming the national averages for China and the machinery industry, and exports reaching new highs. In the first quarter of 2026, production, sales, and orders grew simultaneously, driven by demand from construction machinery and automation equipment. Throughout the year, the industry achieved fruitful results in scientific innovation, intelligent manufacturing, green manufacturing, and industry-university-research collaboration, with multiple standards, scientific and technological awards, and smart factories being implemented. At the same time, the industry faces challenges such as foreign trade barriers, low-end involution, and shortcomings in high-end materials and precision manufacturing. Based on the "15th Five-Year Plan" outline, the industry will anchor on the main lines of high-end, intelligent, green, and integrated development, focusing on AI+manufacturing, lightweight energy-saving, and new energy supporting tracks, improving the standard and credit system, and deepening industry-university-research collaboration along the industrial chain.

Liu Weilin, Full-time Vice President, delivered a special report on Party-building on behalf of the Association's Party Branch. The report systematically reviewed the achievements and next steps of the Association's Party-building work from five dimensions: policy learning, internal system improvement, special rectification of branches, regular warning education, and standardized branch construction.

Secretary-General Zhao Manlin reported on the Association's work since the last Standing Council meeting, summarizing key tasks and achievements in areas such as system improvement, standard development, industrial planning, exhibition exchanges, industry talent cultivation, industry-university-research docking, and industry services.

The meeting then proceeded to the proposal deliberation session, where six proposals were reviewed: the proposal on the "15th Five-Year Development Plan for the Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Seals Industry"; the proposal on formulating the "Enterprise Credit Rating Evaluation Management Measures"; the proposal on revising the "Standardization Work Management Measures"; the proposal on revising the "Branch Management Measures"; the proposal on member adjustments; and the proposal on adjustments to the 8th Council members.

Each proposal was voted on by secret ballot, with scrutineers and tellers responsible for the entire process of distributing, collecting, and counting the ballots.

After the deliberation and voting on the proposals, standing council members engaged in discussions and speeches on topics such as plan implementation, standard enforcement, credit system construction, industrial technology breakthroughs, and improvement of association services, offering suggestions based on their own enterprise development practices.

Association staff read out the voting results of all proposals on-site, and all six proposals were approved by the meeting. After deliberation by all attendees, the meeting unanimously approved the minutes of this Standing Council meeting.
