en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 12, China's Swancor released a real-machine video of the Qiyuan T1, calling it the "world's first deformable personal robot." Official footage shows that the Qiyuan T1 adopts a single-body structure, capable of automatically switching between a wheeled humanoid form and a quadruped robot form, maintaining movement and posture control before and after the transformation.

In the wheeled humanoid state, the Qiyuan T1 maintains an upright body structure with wheeled locomotion mechanisms at the leg ends, allowing the robot to move on flat surfaces by rolling. When switching to the quadruped state, the body height decreases, and the limbs readjust their support angles and contact positions, transforming the entire machine from a bipedal upright layout to a four-point support layout. Both forms share the same body and limb mechanisms, without requiring replacement of the chassis or attachment of external quadruped modules.

The real-machine video also demonstrates the Qiyuan T1 jumping down from a tabletop height. Upon landing, the robot's limbs quickly form support, with no significant lateral tipping, and it maintains a stable posture after the impact. This action primarily tests the robot's body balance, joint response, and multi-point coordinated control under height changes and landing impact conditions. Public information has not yet disclosed the landing height, total weight, joint torque, cushioning structure, or posture recovery time.

During the form-switching process, the robot must simultaneously handle changes in the body's center of gravity, limb movement trajectories, and redistribution of support points. The wheeled humanoid state emphasizes upright movement and a higher body perspective, while the quadruped state improves motion stability by lowering the center of gravity and increasing ground contact points. Official footage shows that the Qiyuan T1 maintains a stable body after completing the structural switch, without requiring manual correction or restart.

In addition to dual-form movement, Swancor has disclosed that the Qiyuan T1 is equipped with filming and camera movement capabilities, allowing the robot body to perform moving shots. Its wheeled locomotion structure reduces vertical vibrations common in normal gaits, while the quadruped form can be used for lower camera positions or filming states requiring more stable support. Existing materials have not yet revealed camera specifications, gimbal degrees of freedom, number of visual sensors, or autonomous obstacle avoidance solutions.

The Qiyuan T1 is scheduled to be officially showcased at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference. Currently, publicly available content mainly focuses on the wheeled humanoid and quadruped form switching, landing stability, and mobile filming capabilities. Its degrees of freedom, battery capacity, endurance time, load capacity, control chip, and mass production configuration have not yet been disclosed.
