en.Wedoany.com Reported - Foton Motor has launched a new range of accessories for its Tunland pickup in the Australian market to enhance its competitiveness in the local pickup segment. The accessories are divided into three packages, targeting cargo loading, towing, and interior trim and protection.
In the cargo package, the hardtop canopy offers a choice of solid alloy opening panels or side glass windows, both priced at AUD 6,845.85. The manual roller cover is priced at AUD 2,814.08, while the electric version raises the price to AUD 3,717.07. For the rear canopy, the V9 model can be equipped with a sport bar, while the V7 model cannot, both priced at AUD 950.62. Both models can also be fitted with a roof platform, priced at AUD 2,558.05. The maximum total price for this cargo package is AUD 14,071.59. If a base model Tunland V7 is fully optioned, its price will exceed AUD 54,000 before on-road costs.

The towing package focuses on enhancing the vehicle's load and towing capacity. The seven-pin tow bar kit is priced at AUD 1,560.89, while the version with a RedArc electronic brake controller is priced at AUD 871.33. Additionally, three items are available by special order only: the electronic brake controller (AUD 1,428.61), Anderson plug kit (AUD 992.95), and recovery point kit (AUD 418.01). The maximum total price for this package is AUD 5,271.79.

The final package is a general interior trim package, offering various covering options. These include a carpet mat set (AUD 129.95), a rubber deep-dish mat set (AUD 212.64), and a combination set of both (AUD 288.86). Additionally, a rubber cargo liner is available by order, priced at AUD 232.42. All accessories come with a seven-year warranty.

The Tunland returned to the Australian market late last year, offering the practical V7 and lifestyle V9 models. The V7 starts at AUD 39,990, while the top-spec V9 is priced up to AUD 49,990. The vehicle is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine with a mild hybrid powertrain, delivering 120 kW of power and 450 Nm of torque. As of June, 715 units of the model have been sold. It faces competition from established models in the local market, such as the Ford Ranger and Toyota HiLux, but has yet to challenge the market position of these veteran models.
