en.Wedoany.com Reported - Malaysia Airlines has entered into a new codeshare partnership with SNCF Voyageurs, the travel division of French National Railway Company, aimed at enabling seamless air-rail connectivity between Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and 28 rail destinations across France.
Based on SNCF Voyageurs' "TRAIN + AIR" product, the partnership combines air and rail services into a single connecting journey. Passengers flying with Malaysia Airlines to Paris Charles de Gaulle can extend their itinerary to major French cities and regional destinations via the high-speed rail network.
Through this collaboration, Malaysia Airlines will place its marketing code on SNCF rail services bookable via AccesRail (IATA code '9B'), allowing travelers to book the rail segment as a connecting journey through Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.
Bryan Foong, Chief Executive Officer of Airlines at Malaysia Aviation Group, stated that the partnership with SNCF Voyageurs is a key step in advancing the broader strategy to provide customers with seamless, end-to-end connectivity in Europe. By integrating air and rail into a unified travel experience, the network expands from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to 28 destinations across France, enhancing connectivity while offering greater convenience through seamless transfers and a single itinerary.
Tickets will go on sale starting July 10.
