en.Wedoany.com Reported - The two core towers, the H₂S stripper and the recycle hydrogen desulfurization tower, completed customs clearance, arrival, unloading, and hoisting operations within 24 hours, marking the peak of key equipment arrivals for the oil quality upgrade project at Zhongda Petroleum.

These two towers are the core equipment of the project, responsible for removing hydrogen sulfide from oil products, preventing equipment corrosion, and ensuring product quality. The equipment is large in size and heavy in weight, requiring cross-border transportation through China, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, involving multi-port customs clearance, vehicle dispatch, and oversized transport permit procedures. The efficiency of customs clearance directly impacts the installation schedule. To this end, the project procurement team made advance arrangements, coordinating with logistics service providers before shipment to complete all preparatory work, including document pre-review, capacity locking, and oversized transport permit applications. Upon the equipment's arrival at the port, the project assigned dedicated personnel to follow up on document review, tax payment, and customs inspection steps throughout the process, enabling immediate declaration upon arrival and immediate release upon declaration, significantly shortening the customs clearance cycle.

After customs clearance and release, the project team coordinated with local support forces to safely transport the equipment to the construction site. For the unloading and hoisting of the oversized equipment, the procurement department coordinated the operation plan with the construction unit in advance, arranging for large hoisting equipment to arrive and stand by early, ensuring that unloading and hoisting could proceed immediately upon arrival. The construction unit worked overnight, strictly adhering to construction specifications for precise operation.
Currently, the H₂S stripper and the recycle hydrogen desulfurization tower have been hoisted into place, and subsequent pipeline connection work is progressing in an orderly manner.
