en.Wedoany.com Reported - The tactical analysis tool FIFA AI Pro, developed in collaboration between FIFA and China's Lenovo, has been adopted by all 48 participating teams in the 2026 World Cup. Based on the Lenovo AI Factory, this tool is a Knowledge Super Agent built on FIFA's Football Language (Linguagem de Futebol da FIFA), featuring over 2,000 data metrics. It coordinates multiple agents to scan millions of data points, providing analytical insights through reports, charts, and animations.

The technology has been distributed to all participating teams, aiming to maximize the level of democratization in the tournament. Lenovo noted that Cape Verde exited the World Cup undefeated in regular time, drawing with Spain in their opening match and losing to eventual champions Argentina in extra time during the Round of 16; four-time champions Germany were eliminated after losing to Paraguay. While these upsets can be attributed to various factors, access to FIFA AI Pro enabled all 48 teams to utilize this AI-powered enterprise-level knowledge assistant to prepare for matches.
Arsène Wenger, FIFA's Director of Global Football Development and former Arsenal manager, stated that FIFA AI Pro represents a new era in match preparation and analysis. He pointed out that by automating the search, organization, and interpretation of vast amounts of data and video content, football experts can now focus more on performance insights, tactical decisions, and helping teams gain a competitive edge.
Ken Wong, Executive Vice President and President of SSG at Lenovo, said that Lenovo is committed to realizing the vision of "Smarter AI for All," and FIFA AI Pro is a manifestation of this vision. All teams participating in this World Cup have received the same cutting-edge technology and analytical tools, which helps level the playing field in a historic tournament, allowing challengers and traditional world powers to compete on the biggest stage.
