en.Wedoany.com Reported - Tongwei Solar officially began mass production of the TNC 3.0-G12 module on July 16. The product achieves a mass production power of 750W and a mass production efficiency of over 24.14%, making Tongwei the world's first company to mass-produce this high-efficiency module format, surpassing the national Grade I photovoltaic energy efficiency standard.

Since the first unit rolled off the production line at the Jintang base in late May, Tongwei has rapidly ramped up mass production, achieving stable product yield and consistency. The TNC 3.0 technology ecosystem endows this module with a 90% bifaciality rate, low-light power generation capability, hot spot protection, and shading protection features. It is suitable for all scenarios, including residential, commercial and industrial, and utility-scale power plants, helping to reduce BOS costs and levelized cost of electricity (LCOE).

Since the launch of the TNC 3.0 series modules, market demand has exceeded corporate expectations. Orders for June have fully covered production capacity, with some specifications requiring advance booking. Tongwei is accelerating capacity release, but high-efficiency capacity remains in short supply. Currently, the national photovoltaic energy efficiency standard explicitly advocates for high-efficiency capacity, and procurement by central and state-owned enterprises is also favoring high-efficiency products. Under the framework of the "15th Five-Year Plan," industrial provinces like Zhejiang have incorporated high-efficiency capacity into evaluation indicators through documents such as the "Guiding Opinions on Photovoltaic Development and Construction in Zhejiang's Industrial Sector." High-efficiency capacity is expected to gain competitiveness in procurement access, policy support, project financing, and other areas.
