en.Wedoany.com Reported - A new batch of 3,600 vehicles from GAC Group has arrived at the Port of Vitória (ES), Brazil, and will be directly delivered to the brand's dealer network. This batch includes the already-launched GS3, GS4, Aion V, and Aion UT models, as well as a six-seat hybrid SUV set to launch locally next month, with sales expected to begin soon.

Since commencing operations in Brazil last year, GAC Group has been using a flat rack system for maritime vehicle transport. This system secures vehicles to metal structures using cranes, eliminating the need for onboard driving, and supports "customs clearance on water" (desembaraço aduaneiro sobre águas), allowing cargo release before the vessel docks.
GAC Group stated that the arrival of this new batch aligns with the brand's growth in the Brazilian market and supports the sales increase recorded in recent months. According to data from the Brazilian Association of Automotive Vehicle Distributors (Fenabrave), the Chinese brand ranks 19th among the best-selling models in Brazil, with 4,948 units registered in the first half of the year, representing a 0.46% market share.
Starting next year, GAC Group will begin local production in Brazil through a partnership with HPE—which represents Mitsubishi and Suzuki's operations in Brazil—at an industrial complex in Catalão, Goiás (GO), for vehicle assembly.
