The UL4 is a next-generation platform product developed by CES for the global market, integrating advanced emission control technologies and system integration capabilities. It is currently primarily applied in markets adhering to Euro VI emission standards, with provisions for future technical upgrades to meet China National VII and higher standards. Known for its reliability, durability, compact structure, and flexible installation, the product is widely applicable across various diesel power applications.
The official launch of the UL4 production line marks a new phase for CES China in localized manufacturing of key emission control products, supply chain development, and its ability to serve the global market. Alison Trueblood stated that the commissioning of the UL4 production line is a significant milestone for CES China, reflecting its continuous innovation in low-carbon technologies and further strengthening Cummins' global supply chain layout and customer service capabilities.

The newly launched UL4 production line is built on the Wuxi Urea Dosing System Manufacturing Base. This base serves as the core production hub for CES China's urea dosing systems, featuring a multi-product platform production system covering UA2, UL2.2, and UL4. It supports the production of products meeting China National V/Euro V, China National VI/Euro VI, and non-road China National IV emission standards, with manufacturing capabilities ready for future China National VII technical upgrades. The annual production capacity exceeds one million units. Through the continuous introduction of automation, digitalization, and smart manufacturing technologies, the automation rate for key processes exceeds 90%, enabling full digital management from assembly and testing to quality traceability. This enhances production efficiency while improving product quality stability. Leveraging a robust local supply chain and quality assurance system, the Wuxi base not only supports large-scale UL4 production but also provides strong backing for the introduction of new technologies and products in the future.
