en.Wedoany.com Reported - Humanoid Robot (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (National Local Joint Humanoid Robot Innovation Center) and Zhongke Tianhang (Jiangsu) Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. have signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will collaborate on real-world training, algorithm iteration, and demonstration deployment of humanoid robots in high-end equipment manufacturing scenarios, jointly building the first industrial-grade embodied intelligent training ground in the Yangtze River Delta, covering processes such as material loading and unloading, precision assembly, and factory patrol inspection.
The National Local Joint Engineering Research Center is a national-level innovation platform jointly authorized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Shanghai Municipal Government, responsible for advancing common technology breakthroughs and ecosystem building for humanoid robots. Zhongke Tianhang has long been engaged in intelligent manufacturing business and possesses real production lines and scenario resources. According to the agreement, Zhongke Tianhang will open its industrial production lines for real-world data collection, model evaluation, and on-site training of humanoid robots. The core of this cooperation lies in bridging the technology platform with physical manufacturing scenarios.

Currently, the main bottleneck for humanoid robots transitioning from laboratories to factories is the lack of high-complexity, high-noise real industrial environments for generalization training. The jointly built training ground will establish a standardized data governance and capability verification public platform to address this shortcoming. The two parties will also jointly carry out production line intelligent adaptation and human-robot collaboration optimization, and through joint R&D and technical training, help Zhongke Tianhang build its own embodied intelligent team.
From a strategic perspective, this cooperation aligns with the national "15th Five-Year Plan" guidance on real-world robot training and reflects the National Local Joint Engineering Research Center's transition from "technology output" to "ecosystem empowerment." If the project proceeds smoothly, it can provide replicable intelligent upgrade solutions for sub-sectors such as precision casting, laying the foundation for humanoid robots to evolve from basic motion capabilities to refined operational capabilities.
