Fury And Confusion As Massive Offshore Wind Projects Sunk Over Russia Fears

Wedoany.com Report-Nov 5, Major developers voiced their dismay and Sweden’s wind industry demanded a meeting with the government after a shock decision to reject 30GW of offshore wind farms including some of the world’s largest planned projects.
The Swedish government yesterday (Monday) refused permission for 13 projects in the Baltic Sea citing a clash with defence operations amid heightened tensions with neighbouring Russia, noting the proximity of Russian enclave Kaliningrad.
