en.Wedoany.com Reported - Valmet will deliver a new wood handling line to The Price Companies in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, USA, aimed at enhancing chipping capacity to provide efficient wood chip supply for pulp and paperboard production.

The order has been booked into Valmet's second quarter 2026 orders, with the value not disclosed. The new line is expected to start up in November 2028.

Valmet's scope of delivery covers a complete solution from log infeed to high-quality wood chips, efficiently handling full-length logs of both softwood and hardwood. The new debarking and chipping line is designed with a capacity of 475 tons of logs per hour, featuring a powered infeed conveyor, a trunnion-mounted debarking drum, a Valmet Carthage disc chipper, and belt conveyors. The line is designed for reliable operation, providing consistent chip quality with low wood loss.
