en.Wedoany.com Reported - US tech company Calyx has announced the addition of Docu Prep document generation integration to its Path platform, enabling lenders to generate, sign, and manage loan documents within the platform without switching systems. This integration embeds document processing directly into the workflow, eliminating the need for data reconciliation outside the loan origination system and connecting document activities to a single loan data record.
In the traditional model, document preparation requires switching between multiple systems while maintaining consistency across multiple working versions of the same loan data, resulting in ongoing integration maintenance, manual reconciliation, increased compliance risk, and additional operational overhead. By embedding document generation directly into the Path platform, these inefficiencies are eliminated, enabling a more streamlined and controlled process that accelerates document processing, reduces operational costs, and enhances confidence in compliance, audit readiness, and accuracy.
Jeff Davis, Sales Director of the Calyx Path platform, stated that document generation has long forced lenders to work outside the LOS, and bringing it directly into Path helps eliminate a major source of operational friction while reducing the cost and complexity required to maintain data integrity across multiple systems. The integration supports the generation of a full range of mortgage documents within Path, including conventional loans, FHA, VA, ARM, HELOC, construction loans, manufactured home loans, chattel loans, land and lot loans, and specialty loan programs.
Key features include native document generation within Path, integrated e-signature support, compliant loan specification documents, built-in audit trails and user access controls, loan analytics tools for compliance and quality review, and automatic delivery of completed documents to the loan record. Docu Prep brings over four decades of document preparation expertise to the platform, expanding Path's ability to connect critical mortgage functions within a single operating environment.
Scott Buchanan, President and CEO of Docu Prep, noted that tight integration not only enhances user experience but also ensures data accuracy and document correctness, both of which are indispensable in the mortgage industry. Even with a smooth workflow, unclean data or documents that do not meet loan specifications still pose compliance risks. This integration helps lenders incorporate document preparation into their existing workflows rather than managing it as a standalone system. This announcement reflects Calyx's vision for the Path platform, which connects critical mortgage functions through shared workflows, rule layers, and a loan data foundation, rather than relying on disconnected systems and duplicate loan data versions. Docu Prep connectivity is now available to Path lenders.
