Contour Airlines Launches Direct Flights from St. Thomas, USVI to St. Maarten

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Contour Airlines has announced the launch of a direct flight route connecting St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands with St. Maarten, starting October 5, 2026. The new route, operating between Cyril E. King Airport (STT) and Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM), will run two flights per week, aiming to enhance regional connectivity between the two islands.

The new route will strengthen regional links in the northeastern Caribbean, expected to support tourism growth, business travel, and inter-island mobility. Flights will operate on Mondays and Fridays with one round trip each day: On Mondays, the flight from St. Thomas (STT) to St. Maarten (SXM) departs at 11:35 a.m. and arrives at 12:30 p.m.; the return flight departs at 1:15 p.m. and arrives at 2:10 p.m. On Fridays, the flight departs at 12:35 p.m. and arrives at 1:35 p.m.; the return flight departs at 2:30 p.m. and arrives at 3:25 p.m. All flights are operated by a 30-seat regional jet fleet, offering amenities such as extra legroom and complimentary snacks.
