The key new product at this exhibition is the expanded S274 tool system. Horn has added sintered chip-breaking geometries for parting-off and turning to this series, aiming to improve chip control, enhance process reliability, and support more cost-effective machining on sliding-head lathes. For grooving and parting-off operations, Horn has introduced new precision sintered chip-breaking geometries of type .1A, with cutting widths as narrow as 0.8 mm and 0.6 mm, helping to reduce material loss and ensure stable chip formation.

The matching carbide inserts include types RS274 and RE274, with the RE274 featuring a press-fit threaded element for the RH274 tool holder. Available carbide grades are TH35 and IG35. Additionally, Horn has introduced new chip-breaking geometries .NF and .PR: .NF is designed for grooving and sliding-head longitudinal turning, while .PR is intended for back-turning. Both offer a feed rate range of 0.02 to 0.1 mm/rev and are compatible with a variety of workpiece materials.

In addition to product displays, AMB 2026 will also focus on specialized sectors such as aerospace and defense. On the Saturday of the exhibition, Horn will organize a parent-child rally aimed at sparking young people's interest in mechanical engineering and production technology, helping them gain a smoother introduction to the manufacturing industry.
