en.Wedoany.com Reported - Kazakh gold mining company Solidcore Resources plc has released its operating results for the first half of 2026, reporting revenue of $972 million during the period, triple the $325 million recorded in the same period of 2025.

The growth was driven by two main factors: the company's gold sales volume increased by 97% year-on-year to 205,000 ounces, and international gold prices rose over the same period.

Production indicators at core assets also improved in tandem. The Kyzyl deposit produced 122,000 ounces of gold in the first half of the year, up 159% year-on-year. The output increase was attributed to the resumption of operations at the Amur Metallurgical Plant (Амурский ГМК) following a 2025 outage, as well as the company's launch of concentrate processing using Kazakhmys' capacity. These two processing streams contributed 56,000 ounces and 66,000 ounces respectively, with the latter accounting for the majority of output.

Gold concentrate production at Kyzyl declined in the first half of the year due to the depletion of high-recovery ore reserves in the eastern part of the open pit. The company plans to transition to underground mining by 2030.

Production at the Varvara deposit grew by 17% to 88,000 ounces.

The company maintained its full-year 2026 production forecast, with the target still set at 540,000 ounces of gold equivalent.

Regarding investment projects, Solidcore secured an additional $600 million in financing for the "Irtysh Hydrometallurgical Plant" project in Pavlodar Region. In June, the project documentation passed state review, the company obtained environmental permits for construction, and shipments of major process equipment began simultaneously.

For the "Syrymbet" project, a final investment decision is planned for September 2026. The feasibility study is in its final stage, engineering surveys are 95% complete, and the construction site is being prepared for the start of foundation works.
