On July 24, AutoFlight completed its air taxi demonstration flight, with the ton-class eVTOL aircraft on continuous public display throughout the event as part of the official public exhibition. The Astana demonstration marks AutoFlight's second public flight following its inaugural eVTOL flight in Alatau City in May 2026, reflecting its ongoing plans to advance advanced air mobility development in Kazakhstan. Through the partnership between the two parties, AutoFlight is accelerating commercial deployment across dimensions including aviation innovation, smart infrastructure, and regional connectivity.

Sergey Khegay, CEO of AAAG, stated that the demonstration flight in Astana is not an isolated event but part of a systematic effort to introduce urban air mobility in Kazakhstan. The country is building the corresponding ecosystem, with relevant legislation already passed, infrastructure development underway, and international cooperation with global leaders continuously expanding, with the goal of making innovative air transportation an integral part of Kazakhstan's transport system.

Kellen Xie, Senior Vice President of AutoFlight, stated that large-scale eVTOL technology will transform the region across multiple dimensions, including urban air mobility, intercity travel, aerial sightseeing, logistics, and emergency response. These applications represent not only technological possibilities but also a new paradigm for sustainable, zero-emission transportation in Central Asia. AutoFlight stated that the company will continue to collaborate with governments, regulatory bodies, and strategic partners worldwide to advance the commercialization of eVTOL technology and open up new opportunities for sustainable air transportation.
