The model has ranked first in Brazil's automotive sales for five consecutive years and became the best-selling vehicle in South America in 2025, maintaining a steady production and sales pace.

Behind these sales figures, Strada's long-accumulated differentiated product configurations have underpinned its competitiveness. Since its launch in 1998, this pickup has driven category upgrades through innovative solutions tailored to consumer needs: in 1999, it introduced an extended cab to enhance work-use load capacity; in 2009, it launched a double cab, expanding the vehicle's usage scenarios; in 2013, it added a third door, improving entry and exit convenience and everyday practicality.

In 2020, the new-generation Strada was launched, pioneering a four-door configuration in this segment, accommodating five passengers, and introducing features such as electronic stability control, which were previously unavailable in compact pickups. In 2021, the model became the first in its category to offer a CVT transmission. In 2023, Strada adopted the Turbo 200 Flex engine.

In January 2025, the Ranch and Ultra versions of the Strada were integrated with the Connect Fiat platform. This platform enables remote vehicle information access, real-time location tracking, and direct use of security and assistance services via smartphone, enhancing customer convenience and vehicle protection.

Currently, the Strada is available in five versions. The Cabine Plus version offers a maximum payload of 720 kg and a cargo box volume of 1,354 liters; the double cab version offers a maximum payload of 650 kg and a cargo box volume of 844 liters. All configurations have a towing capacity of 400 kg.
