en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 11, Vietnamese aerospace company VinSpace announced that it has signed a satellite launch services contract with SpaceX of the United States, planning to send its first batch of satellites into orbit in the second quarter of 2027 via SpaceX's Transporter rideshare program. The contract value, number of satellites, technical specifications, and target orbit have not been disclosed.

Under the arrangement between the two parties, VinSpace is responsible for the research and development, manufacturing, and post-orbit operational management of the satellites. The initial mission will be used to validate the company's self-developed satellite modules and conduct in-orbit testing for subsequent commercial applications; SpaceX is responsible for providing rideshare launch services, sending VinSpace's satellites into orbit alongside spacecraft from other customers.

Founded in November 2025, VinSpace is an aerospace enterprise under Vietnam's Vingroup conglomerate. In April this year, the company announced its plan to develop and launch its first batch of satellites in 2027. This contract signing marks the project's transition from preliminary planning to the launch services implementation phase. The company's future business scope includes satellite design and manufacturing, assembly, integration and testing, launch mission management, in-orbit operations, and space data services.
