en.Wedoany.com Reported - Hong Kong-listed company CiDi has released its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, with cumulative shipments of its autonomous mining trucks surpassing 1,900 units, up 213% year-on-year. The company is expanding deployment of these products across nearly 40 mines worldwide.

The company currently operates fleets of over 100 autonomous mining trucks on a regular basis at seven mines, with the largest single-site deployment exceeding 220 vehicles. Its autonomous mining solution, MetaMine, supports unmanned haulage across mining workflows including overburden stripping, coal loading and transportation, waste dump haulage, energy replenishment, and crusher station feeding.
In terms of orders, CiDi secured a purchase order for 500 autonomous mining trucks from Guangna Group in February 2026. The company described the agreement as the "largest single formal purchase order" in the autonomous mining truck sector globally.
Beyond mining trucks, the company received orders for over 400 autonomous logistics trucks from domestic and international customers in the first half of 2026, with some vehicles already delivered for commercial trials.
The autonomous driving business remains CiDi's primary revenue source. Revenue from this segment grew 107% year-on-year to RMB 784 million in the first half, accounting for 97.6% of its total revenue.
The company's total revenue for the first half reached RMB 804 million, up 97% year-on-year; gross profit rose 204% to RMB 212 million, with gross margin improving from 17% to 26%. Adjusted net loss narrowed by 82% year-on-year to approximately RMB 19.68 million. As of the end of the reporting period, cash and cash equivalents stood at RMB 1.214 billion, compared with RMB 186 million in the same period last year.
CiDi has also expanded its technology platform from autonomous haulage to mining robotics. Its Task Robotics business recorded its first commercial revenue of RMB 3.082 million during the period; CiDi also delivered 34 robotic excavators. Additionally, a robotic explosive charging machine for open-pit mines has entered production, a metallurgical ladle robot has been put into operation, and an underground mining and tunneling robot has completed design, development, and manufacturing.
CiDi CEO Albert Hu stated that the company's heavy embodied intelligence business is moving "from scaled deployment to value realization," with technology extending from autonomous driving to operational robotics. The company plans to accelerate the deployment of specialized robots for excavation, drilling, and charging at mines, targeting international markets including Australia, Brazil, and Indonesia, before expanding to Africa, Central Asia, and the Middle East.
As of the end of June, CiDi's underlying technology platform had supported over 2,000 intelligent machines in commercial operations, accumulating more than 1,300 days of operation. The company stated that these deployments have achieved zero safety incidents.
