Philippines Domestic Air Cargo Forwarder Volume Drops 2.8% in H1 2026

en.Wedoany.com Reported - The latest statistics from the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) of the Philippines show that in the first half of 2026, the total cargo volume handled by domestic air cargo forwarders in the country reached 31.913 million kilograms, down 2.8% from 32.834 million kilograms in the same period of 2025. However, the CAB also noted that only 92% of domestic air cargo forwarders submitted complete cargo volume reports this year, compared to 98.13% in the same period last year.

By transportation structure, direct shipment volume reached 17.282 million kilograms (chargeable weight), accounting for 54.15% of the total, up 15.6% from 14.949 million kilograms in the same period last year; consolidated cargo volume reached 14.587 million kilograms, accounting for 45.71%, down 18.4% from 17.868 million kilograms last year; breakbulking volume increased from 17,189 kilograms to 44,515 kilograms, a surge of 159%.

In the freight forwarder rankings, AP Cargo Logistics Network Corp. (AP Cargo) continued to lead the CAB's top 30 domestic air cargo forwarders with a volume of 7.758 million kilograms, accounting for 24.31% of the total. From 2018 to 2025, except for 2021, the company has maintained the highest cargo volume among domestic air cargo forwarders. LBC Express, Inc. ranked second with 3.282 million kilograms, holding a 10.28% share.

Lite Xpress International, Inc. jumped from 14th place in the first half of last year to third place, with a volume of 2.88 million kilograms, accounting for 9.03%. 2GO Express, Inc. rose one spot to fourth place, with a volume of 2.128 million kilograms, accounting for 6.67%. ASP Airspeed Philippines, Inc. fell one spot to fifth place, with a volume of 1.566 million kilograms, accounting for 4.91%.

Europac Domestic Consolidator Inc. fell three spots to sixth place, with a volume of 1.564 million kilograms, accounting for 4.9%; JRS Business Corp. fell one spot to seventh place, with a volume of 1.437 million kilograms, accounting for 4.5%; Vintel Logistics Inc., which had not entered the top 30 in previous years, re-entered at eighth place with 721,112 kilograms (accounting for 2.26%); Nonpareil International Freight & Cargo Services, Inc. fell two spots to ninth place, with a volume of 708,942 kilograms, accounting for 2.22%; Cargo Padala Express Forwarding Services Corp. rose one spot, entering the top ten with 703,707 kilograms (accounting for 2.21%).

Rankings 11th to 20th are as follows: Wide Wide World Express Corp. (687,620 kg), Kim Gold Cargo Logistics Corp. (646,713 kg), PH Global Jet Express (628,285 kg), Sincerity International Cargo Services Corp. (572,392 kg), Worklink Services, Inc. (487,274 kg), Worldwide Elite Freight Forwarding Consolidation Services, Inc. (474,218 kg), Airspeed International Corp. (470,076 kg), Trans-Global Consolidators Inc. (428,687 kg), Four Aces Resources Corp. (360,963 kg), Pharmaserv Express (353,505 kg).

Rankings 21st to 30th are: Libcap Super Express Corp. (276,296 kg), Linkasia Forwarding Solutions Corp. (265,596 kg), Ximex Delivery Express, Inc. (263,477 kg), FAST Logistics Corp (262,379 kg), AAI Worldwide Logistics Inc. (249,752 kg), High Light Express Philippines Corp. (237,182 kg), 3-Way Cargo Transport Inc.
