en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 15, Tertiary Minerals announced the latest laboratory assay results from Phase 4 drilling at the Target A1 discovery zone of the Mushima North project in Zambia. This batch of results comes from another 13 drill holes, all of which intersected silver-copper-zinc mineralization near the surface, with many holes ending within the mineralized zone, further extending the known depth of mineralization.

Among them, hole 26TMNRC-053 intersected 121 m of continuous mineralization starting from a downhole depth of 4 m, with average grades of 56 g/t silver, 0.26% copper, and 0.37% zinc, equivalent to 78 g/t silver equivalent, making it the widest and best combined silver-copper mineralized intersection at the project to date. This hole also includes an internal high-grade interval of 52 m grading 99 g/t silver, 0.41% copper, and 0.43% zinc, as well as a 10 m interval grading 165 g/t silver, 1.01% copper, and 0.78% zinc. The hole remains within the mineralized zone at approximately 125 m vertical depth.

This batch of assays also returned the project's highest silver grade to date of 471 g/t. Hole 26TMNRC-065 intersected 51 m of mineralization from 28 m, averaging 67 g/t silver, 0.16% copper, and 0.38% zinc, including a 28 m interval averaging 102 g/t silver; this hole also ended within the mineralized zone. Hole 26TMNRC-068 intersected 60 m of mineralization from 39 m, averaging 32 g/t silver, 0.08% copper, and 0.41% zinc.

Phase 4 drilling at Mushima North completed a total of 39 reverse circulation drill holes for a total of 3,639 m. Discovery zone drill holes were laid out at approximately 100 m north-south spacing and 50 m east-west spacing, with a maximum vertical depth of approximately 128 m. As of September 15, the company has published laboratory results for 25 of these holes, with assays for the remaining holes still being returned progressively.

Target A1 currently hosts a JORC-compliant exploration target estimated at 15 million to 30 million tonnes, with an average silver equivalent grade of 40–60 g/t. The existing mineralized body model is approximately 500 m long, about 300 m wide, and up to about 75 m thick, with mineralization remaining open to the northwest, southwest, and at depth. The company is using this round of infill drilling to improve understanding of mineralization continuity and to provide a data basis for a subsequent maiden mineral resource estimate.

The Mushima North mining right is numbered 27068-HQ-LEL and is held by Copernicus Minerals, with Tertiary Minerals Zambia holding 90% and local partner Mwashia Resources holding 10%. The project also maintains technical cooperation with First Quantum Minerals, allowing use of its historical exploration data and geological experience. Target A1 is located approximately 28 km east of the historical Kalengwa copper-silver mine
