Dongfang Electric Secures Order for 2 G50 Gas Turbines from Kazakhstan

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Recently, Dongfang Electric signed a supply contract with Kazakhstan's AMF Group for 2 units of the "Dongfang Dawn" No. 1 (G50) gas turbines and supporting generator sets, continuously expanding new space for international cooperation.

The project is located in the Mugalzhar District of Aktobe Region, Kazakhstan, and will be operated by AMF Group. Dongfang Electric will supply 2 units of the "Dongfang Dawn" No. 1 (G50) gas turbines and supporting generator sets for the project, along with installation and commissioning guidance. Once completed, the project will further increase local power supply and enhance the regional power supply guarantee level.

In light of the local climate characteristics of cold winters and hot summers, as well as growing electricity demand, Dongfang Electric worked collaboratively with the owner to advance the technical solution, comprehensively considering the environmental adaptability of the units and the conditions for utilizing local gas resources, helping to transform the local oil and gas resource advantage into power supply capacity, further strengthening the regional power supply guarantee capability, and providing reliable energy support for local industrial development.
