en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 29, Encounter Resources disclosed that multiple shallow copper oxide mineralized zones have been newly delineated at the Parbo copper system within its Yeneena copper project in Western Australia, extending over 1 kilometer along strike with local widths of up to approximately 800 meters. The mineralization is part of the Parbo copper system, which has a total length exceeding 8 kilometers. Based on historical drill holes and new drilling data from 2026, the company remodelled continuous mineralized domains with copper grades above 0.4%.

The latest drilling results include hole EPT1689, which intersected 52 meters grading 0.6% copper from 42 meters, including 8 meters at 2% copper; and hole EPT1159, which intersected 26.6 meters grading 0.6% copper from 74.4 meters, including 8.1 meters at 1% copper. These shallow copper oxide mineralized zones lie beneath cover and some areas remain inadequately tested by historical drilling.

The Tyrell prospect at the northern end of Parbo previously established the first inferred copper oxide resource, totaling 2.9 million tonnes at 0.79% copper, including a higher-grade zone of 1.1 million tonnes at 1.27% copper. The newly delineated copper oxide mineralization is located outside the existing resource footprint, and the company plans to expand the shallow copper oxide resource through infill and extension drilling.

Encounter has collected samples for preliminary metallurgical testwork, including leach recovery and reagent consumption testing. Meanwhile, the company continues to evaluate the deep copper sulphide potential at Parbo, where previous drilling returned 5.3 meters at 2.5% copper, including 0.7 meters at 10.7% copper.

Assay results from three diamond drill holes across the Tyrell, Maitland, and Griffin targets are expected to be announced in October, with follow-up drilling to cover both shallow copper oxide mineralization extensions and deep copper sulphide targets.
