en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 15, German lifting equipment manufacturer Klaas released technical information on its new K200 truck-mounted crane. The model made its debut as a prototype at the Platformers' Days exhibition held in Karlsruhe, Germany, from October 8 to 9. It uses a 3.5-tonne Mercedes-Benz vehicle chassis and has a maximum lifting capacity of 1,000 kg at a working radius of approximately 6 to 7 meters; at a working radius of 13 meters, the lifting capacity is 500 kg. The equipment is expected to have a maximum boom tip height of nearly 23 meters and a maximum hook height of more than 22 meters.

The K200 was unveiled last week at the Platformers Days exhibition

The K200 features an all-aluminum alloy boom structure, consisting of a base lifting boom, three telescopic boom sections, and a short fixed extension boom. When mounted on the Mercedes-Benz chassis, the vehicle measures 6.8 meters in length, 2.1 meters in width, and 2.8 meters in height in road travel configuration. The model adopts a lightweight superstructure and a compact body configuration, making it suitable for urban streets, building backyards, and construction areas with limited space.

The equipment is equipped with a fully automatic work preparation system. According to data released by Klaas, after the vehicle arrives at the construction site, it can complete equipment deployment and work preparation within 5 minutes. The control system uses a programmable logic controller (PLC) and an intelligent remote control device. The remote control is equipped with an information display screen for viewing equipment operating information. The lifting and slewing motions are also configured with soft-start and soft-stop functions

to reduce sudden impacts during operation and improve the smoothness and control precision of lifting movements.

At this exhibition, Klaas also displayed the K350 E all-electric trailer-mounted crane, which is the company's 1,000th electric crane produced. The K200 was publicly displayed for the first time as an independently developed new lightweight truck-mounted crane. Its main technical data has been released, but complete product specifications are still pending further release.
