Wedoany.com Report-Dec.31, On December 27, the Bishkek Municipal Waste Technology Disposal and Power Generation Project, constructed by Hunan Installation, was officially completed and put into operation. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov attended the commissioning ceremony and delivered a speech on-site. Cheng Liqiang, representative of the project contractor and Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Hunan Installation, was invited to participate in the event. This project is the first waste-to-energy project in Central Asia to adopt clean incineration technology.

The waste-to-energy project has a planned total daily waste processing capacity of 3,000 tons, with the Phase I design processing capacity being 1,000 tons per day. The project can provide approximately 146 million kilowatt-hours of green electricity annually and achieve an annual carbon emission reduction of about 100,000 tons. Construction on the project commenced in October 2024, and the team overcame multiple challenges during the process, ultimately achieving the grid-connected power generation target 33 days ahead of schedule.

One day prior to the commissioning ceremony, on December 26, Cheng Liqiang led a team to conduct a field inspection of key operational areas such as the project's main workshop and the waste crane operation area. He also held work discussions with Dai Daoguo, Chairman of the project partner Hunan Junxin Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. At the subsequent project work meeting, Cheng Liqiang listened to reports on the project's progress and expressed his regards to the frontline overseas staff. He emphasized: "We must proactively advance the final acceptance inspection, solidly organize the acceptance documentation, ensure the project's effectiveness and the rights and interests of all parties, promptly summarize experiences, and provide references for subsequent overseas project management."

At the work meeting, Ouyang Xueming, Member of the Company's Party Committee, Deputy General Manager, and Chief Engineer, proposed that efforts should be focused on completing the project settlement work to ensure a successful conclusion for the project and to help the company further explore overseas markets. The successful operation of this waste-to-energy project provides a solution for the harmless and resource-based treatment of municipal solid waste in the local area.
