Wedoany.com Report-Jan.3, Abu Dhabi-headquartered Marine Oilfield Integrated Solutions has confirmed that a jack-up drilling rig owned by Saudi Arabia's Arabian Drilling has arrived at its Hamriyah shipyard in Sharjah, UAE, to commence comprehensive maintenance work.
Marine Oilfield stated that the newly arrived AD50 rig will undergo maintenance alongside the previously arrived AD70 rig at the shipyard. The company noted in a statement, "This milestone marks the beginning of a comprehensive and significant maintenance program, highlighting our continued commitment to providing world-class offshore engineering and shipbuilding services." The company also expressed gratitude to Arabian Drilling for their trust in its service capabilities.
The Sharjah region of the UAE, where the shipyard is located, is one of the Gulf region's key centers for ship and offshore equipment maintenance. Marine Oilfield emphasized that it operates two shipyard facilities in the UAE, dedicated to providing engineering and manufacturing services for the regional energy industry. This drilling rig maintenance project reflects its operational activities in the field of offshore equipment logistics support.
Currently, Marine Oilfield is expanding its drilling fleet and plans to complete the acquisition of the Noble Resolve drilling rig in the second quarter of 2026.
