Wedoany.com Report on Feb 11th, Flight Master DAST recently released the outbound airline data report for the first week of the 2026 Spring Festival travel rush. The data shows that among the top 50 outbound routes by flight volume, routes to Hong Kong (China), Thailand, and South Korea ranked highest, making them the primary choices for passenger travel during the Spring Festival period.

Regarding specific route adjustments, the route from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, is a newly launched service. Meanwhile, routes from Guangzhou Baiyun to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Shanghai Pudong to Noi Bai, Vietnam; and Shanghai Pudong to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, all saw increases of over 20 flights each. In contrast, some routes experienced reductions in flight frequency. Notably, the route from Shanghai Pudong to Osaka Kansai, Japan, decreased by 87 flights, and the route from Shanghai Pudong to Tokyo Narita, Japan, decreased by 40 flights.
According to the overall data, during the first week of the Spring Festival travel rush, the total number of flights between China and Japan decreased by 1,292. Among these, 58 China-Japan routes canceled all their flights.
