OWC Wins Cable Engineering Role at Green Volt

Wedoany.com Report-Aug. 27, OWC has been awarded the cable engineering package for the 560 MW Green Volt floating wind farm, located off the east coast of Scotland. The scope of work includes offshore export and inter-array cables, as well as onshore infrastructure from the landfall point near Aberdeen to the designated substation. The assignment will be managed by OWC’s Scotland-based team and is scheduled for completion later this year.

Luxcara Picks Siemens Gamesa for 1.5GW German North Sea Wind Project

The agreement secures 97 turbines, each with a 15.5MW capacity and a power boost feature, advancing the project toward its planned completion by 2029.

Mingyang ‘Fully Committed’ to Europe

The decision to part ways with the project’s developer, Luxcara, was mutually agreed upon, allowing Luxcara to sign a new reservation agreement with Siemens Gamesa for the Waterkant project, replacing an earlier deal with Mingyang from last year.
