Taian Taishan High Voltage Switchgear Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shandong Luneng Taishan Electric Power Equipment Co., Ltd., under Taishan Group. Established in November 2007, the Company is a specialized power transmission and distribution enterprise integrating design, development, manufacturing, sales, and power engineering construction and maintenance services. Its principal products include Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS) and Tank Circuit Breakers for voltage classes from 40.5kV to 550kV, as well as Gas-Insulated Transmission Lines (GIL) rated 252kV and above.

The Company is a National High-Tech Enterprise, operating R&D platforms including the Shandong Province-Recognized Enterprise Technology Center, the Shandong Province Academician Workstation, and the Shandong Province One-Enterprise-One-Technology R&D Center, supported by a research team of 128 members, including 2 academicians and 39 senior engineers, who have led 38 provincial-level or higher scientific research projects. Its 126kV Compact GIS and 252kV Intelligent GIS have both received authoritative certification and been listed among the Provincial First (Set) Major Technical Equipment. The Company holds 20 invention patents and 48 utility model patents, has participated in drafting industry standards such as GB/T 7674 and GB/T 11022, and has been recognized as a National-Level Specialized, Refined, Differentiated and Innovative "Little Giant" Enterprise, a Shandong Province Green Factory, a Shandong Province Green Supply Chain Management Enterprise, and a Shandong Province Single-Item Champion Enterprise.

The Company has obtained ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certification (Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems). Its products have passed PCCC certification and type testing conducted by Xi'an High Voltage Apparatus Research Institute(XIHARI), with multiple performance indicators exceeding national standards. Its customers include State Grid Corporation of China, China Southern Power Grid, major power generation groups, and industrial users in the new energy, metallurgy, chemical, and steel sectors. The Company's products have also supported key national projects such as the Sichuan–Tibet Railway, the China–Laos Railway, and the Winter Olympics, and are deployed across more than 30 provinces and municipalities in China, as well as overseas markets including Southeast Asia, Central Asia, West Asia, and Central and Eastern Europe, among others.
