TOS KUŘIM - OS, a.s. is located 15 kilometers to the north-west of city Brno. The company belongs to the oldest manufacturers of milling machines, special machines, and automatic machining transfer lines in the Czech Republic. The factory in Kuřim was established as a subsidiary plant of Zbrojovka Brno in 1942. During 60 years of machine tools production in Kuřim, the company staff has gained much experience in such areas as research, development, design, manufacturing, and operation of more than 83 000 machine tools, 60 automatic machining transfer lines, and 3 500 single-purpose machines. Since its establishment, TOS Kuřim has been a pioneer in introducing new techniques into practice. Its trade-mark has become a sign of reliable, precise, and long-life machine tools.
