Bid security: PLN 10,000.00 (approx. EUR 2,300)

Project description: Preparation of a complete set of multi-disciplinary architectural design documentation for the conversion of General Dąbrowski's Palace in Winna Góra into a cultural facility, in compliance with heritage conservation requirements. The palace is a historical building, requiring a balance between conservation norms and modern functional needs.

Detailed scope of services:

Preparation of multi-disciplinary architectural design documentation, including all disciplines: architecture, structure, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, etc.

Completion of conservation and adaptive reuse design for the heritage building, ensuring compliance with Polish heritage protection regulations.

Preparation of all drawings, technical descriptions, and application documents required for obtaining building permits and change of use permits.

Preparation of technical specifications and bill of quantities for construction tender.

Assisting the Client in completing various administrative approval procedures.

Providing design consultancy services during the construction period.

Current building condition:

Historical building, listed in the provincial register of historical monuments in Poland.

Floor area approx. 1,500 sqm.

Main structure is masonry, some areas require reinforcement.

Original function was residential, requiring conversion into a multifunctional cultural facility for exhibitions, cultural events, education, etc.

Design focus:

Preservation of the historical building exterior and important interior decorative elements.

Rational layout of new functional spaces to meet modern cultural activity needs.

Design of accessibility features to ensure universal access.

Balance between energy efficiency improvements and preservation of historical character.

Design of fire evacuation systems, compliant with current safety regulations.

Technical team requirements:

Lead Architect: Full authorization for architectural design, minimum 3 years of project management experience, having led at least 1 heritage conservation architectural design project.

Lead Structural Engineer: Full authorization for structural design, minimum 3 years of structural design experience.

Lead HVAC Engineer: Full authorization for HVAC design, minimum 3 years of HVAC system design experience.

Lead Electrical Engineer: Full authorization for electrical design, minimum 3 years of electrical system design experience.

Deliverables requirements:

Design description and technical specifications (6 hard copies, electronic version).

Construction drawings for all disciplines (6 hard copies, electronic version in CAD format).

Bill of quantities and material list.

Building permit application package.

Special heritage conservation documentation.

Technical consultancy support during the construction phase.

Additional qualification requirements:

Completion of at least 1 public building design project for heritage conservation with a floor area not less than 1,400 sqm within the last 5 years.

Design contract value not less than PLN 100,000 net.

Provision of proof documents that the project has been completed and obtained a building permit.

Professional liability insurance coverage not less than PLN 500,000.

Project description: Preparation of a complete exhibition script and architectural-scenographic design for the permanent exhibition at General Dąbrowski's Palace in Winna Góra. The design must integrate the historical context of the palace and the General's life story to create an educational and culturally attractive permanent exhibition.

Detailed scope of services:

Development of the overall exhibition concept.

Preparation of a complete exhibition script, including theme, narrative, exhibit list, and visitor flow design.

Completion of architectural-scenographic design, including exhibition hall layout, lighting design, color scheme, and display furniture design.

Design of multimedia and interactive installations.

Exhibit conservation and environmental control plan.

Design of exhibition wayfinding system.

Assisting the Client in exhibit acquisition and content review.

Providing design supervision and consultancy services during the exhibition installation construction period.

Historical background:

General Jan Henryk Dąbrowski (1755-1818), Polish national hero.

The palace was his residence in later life, holding significant historical commemorative value.

The exhibition should present the General's life, military achievements, and history of cooperation with Napoleon.

The Polish national anthem "Poland Is Not Yet Lost" mentions the General, giving the exhibition patriotic educational significance.

Exhibition design requirements:

Exhibition area approx. 400-500 sqm, distributed among the main halls of the palace.

Must respect the original architectural spatial layout and historical decorations.

Exhibit types include artifacts, documents, paintings, military equipment, etc.

Integration of multimedia display methods to enhance visitor experience.

Design must consider heritage conservation requirements, controlling light, temperature, and humidity.

Visitor flow design must comply with universal accessibility requirements.

Personnel requirements:

Project Manager: Minimum 5 years of exhibition design project management experience, having led the complete design of at least 1 permanent historical exhibition.

Team members must possess professional competencies in historical research, spatial design, multimedia design, etc.

Additional qualification requirements:

Completion of at least 1 complete historical exhibition script and architectural-scenographic design service within the last 5 years.

Exhibition design contract value not less than PLN 100,000 net.

Provision of proof documents for completed exhibition projects (e.g., site photos, media coverage, client references, etc.).

Professional liability insurance coverage not less than PLN 100,000.

Preferential considerations:

Experience in museum or memorial exhibition design.

In-depth research on Polish history and General Dąbrowski.

Previous cooperation experience with heritage conservation authorities.

Provision of creative interactive display solutions.
