20Mn23AlV has extremely low magnetic permeability, excellent mechanical properties, and processing performance, making it a suitable substitute for low-magnetic austenitic stainless steel in the production of non-magnetic components for equipment such as transformers, generators, and special smelting electric furnaces. This prevents component heating and ensures safe equipment operation. It is widely used in:
- Structural components for magnetic shielding inside large and medium-sized transformer oil tanks, core tie plates, and other parts with leakage magnetic fields;
- Structural components such as stator coil binding rings and retaining rings in large and medium-sized generators;
- High-voltage bushing components and adjacent steel structural parts in high-voltage, high-current transmission lines.
